![]() Retirement community... very nice area but I think you are correct in your evaluation of the population. I'm not from the area but I have visited quite a few times - my brother's inlaws retired there.

I was born and raised in crescent city ca about 25 miles south of brookings. Its a nice area, but not a lot happening. And I hope you like fog and when its not foggy its windy. Storms are pretty cool though.

You're moving to Brookings? Damn I feel sorry for you. I just moved away from there. Maybe 3 mud holes that get boring after an hour and absolutely nothing to do. There's plenty of drunk idiots, stoners, and whores there if that's what you're in to. But basically, it's hell.
I lived there for... 13 years. |

I live up in Coos Bay(couple hours north). I work at the Dodge dealership here and just sold a new truck to a guy that lives in Brookings. He's in his 30's but has a pretty sweet cj5 thats stretched on 42's. He runs around with a group of guys in that area that wheel. I don't remember his name here on the board but he is a member. I'm sure I could put you in touch.
