Quote:
It will be held at the Starvation ridge motorcycle G.P. track. (go to www.overthebarsgang.com for directions to the track) This is a desert style race on a 10.2 mile loop, The most laps in 4 hours wins. We are going to try 30 second start intervals, this will depend on car count. There will be hot pits for fuel, tires, and small repairs. Major repairs will have to go to main pits. Hot pit top speed will be 15 MPH and 5 MPH for the main pit (SPEED WILL BE ENFORCED). Each lap you will stop at START/FINSH line checkpoint to be electronically scored, lap time will be displayed on reader board (no transponders).

Class rules will be relaxed due to wide the diversity of vehicles. Safety rules will be followed and tech inspector will have final say. UTV and Zukiworld Challenge cars will race together. The UTV’s will race for 2 hours Saturday after noon, 1:30 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. The Zukiworld challenge cars will race for 4 hours Saturday afternoon, 1:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. Sunday morning buggy classes run 8 A.M. to 12 A.M. Sunday afternoon the truck classes will run from 1 P.M. to 5 P.M. for 4 hours. Pay out following scoring of truck race.

Gates open Friday the 12th $10.00 gate fee overnight camping allowed, (no camp fires due to county restrictions and tall dry grass and winds) Concession stand will be present. We are trying to get a couple vendors to appear with displays for parts and safety equipment. The Mid Valley Crawlers 4X4 club will give assistance for on course vehicle recovery. Track is accessible at race mile 5 by county road. (NO CHASE OR TEAM VEHICLE ON RACE COURSE DURING COMPETITION, ONLY AUTHORIZED RECOVERY VEHICLES)
See link for additional info on safety information and such.

Im not understaning the rules regarding the fuel cell for the suzuki class. They want your suzuki more or less stock, but they want you to put a fuel cell in it. . . . ?

- E-mail or phone David Capell at Offroadlab @ gmail.com or 503-550-0629
- For Zukiworld Challenge only E-mail or phone Eric Bewley at ebewley @ zukiworld.com or 541-967-3255 (days)

Today they said they would be doing registration right up to day of. I also heard they are not set up to take credit cards so cash or check for entrance fee's.

Quite a few other people have had concerns about some of the tech requirements, what I basically heard is they just want to make sure you aren't going to kill yourself. Give Broc Dave or Eric a call and chat it over with them. Your probably fine...

You should!! This is the first time they have had a truck buggy race, but the property owners have been doing motor cycle races for like 10 years. They've got plenty of room for pits, and a nice course set up that should provide some great action.

Do they allow people to drive this track not on a race day? With bikes and or trucks?
Looks like something fun to tear around on. I am just not a racer.
