A message from Alpha Gorilla:
I want to thank everyone for submitting your rig to compete, as of now we are going to close entries to any other competitors. The list of competitors are listed on Arkansascrawlers.com. We will make provisions next year to accommodate more competitors. When I started this I was hoping to get 20-25 rigs to compete. I am thrilled we have had such a great turn out. This is huge for a first year event to get such a big response. My goal is to make this the biggest and best Offroad event in the south. Again thanks to all the competitors, sponsors, and all my friends that are behind the scenes helping to make this happen. If you didn't make the competitors list this year I apologize. This will be the most exciting and enjoyable time you will have that won't get you landed in jail! So come out enjoy the show, the food, bands and the Superlift Orv Park. Thanks Rick Muns ALPHA GORILLA

We are entered and gonna bring the Hulk. (editted cause Jeremy is a punk) This should be funny to watch since hes never raced but has 712hp and 54" MTs. Oh wait, I have to fix this shit...so be it!!! Oh, and I'm racing the Cheeto Racer.
So I'm calling hulk out....want to mingle with the Pringle?

im a bit confused about the parking situation. if we drop our rig at the park and drive up to the parking area are we stuck walking back to the park?
question 2, we are bringing our rigs in on an 18 wheeler, will there be room at the park to get in, unload and get out in this "unloading" area? just trying to get a game plan together.

Never been to HS wheelin. We're staying at the Red Roof Inn. Mine is tagged and insured, but if a cop was a dick, it ain't street legal. Are they hard on that? Would I be risking it to drive from hotel, or should I trailer it to be safe? Not like it's that far if I break and need to go get truck and come get it. What say you regulars there, taking into account the size of this event and the number of people likely to be there bringing more attention to traffic?

I don't think the number of rigs will much more than that, but if word gets out, and it is, spectators could really clog it up. Hope those of us wheeling and paying $75 vs $5 will get a little preference on parking and so forth.

I seriously doubt many people will come just to watch and not bring a rig of some sort. Who wants to pay $5 to get in then have to walk everywhere all day? I'm gonna take a guess and say you're not going I have to worry about 2,000 random spectators parking their Honda Civics in the parking lot.
Edit: not to mention, if they are paying customers they have every right to be there just as you do so it matters not whether they are wheeling a $100k buggy, a $5k Jeep, or just walking in on foot. Just sayin.

my rig is also tagged and insured but if looked at,it isnt street legal with bead locks, hiems on steering, full widths on a tj. etc.. and have never been stopped in the limited amount i have driven it on the street, i think if ya act right and dont draw alot of attention ya should be fine driving it. if this thing grows to the point of trailer parking problems, i may just leave the rig at home and drive the cruiser...

How about we sweeten the pot on this competition just a bit.
Just got the word. Crawl Magazine will be doing a feature shoot on the winners of this, both classes. So not only do you get to claim the cash your rig will be in the Magazine.
