I heard a rumor that this years KK isn't going to happen at Tuttle because the ACOE is requiring event liability insurance. So it may need to be moved to a different venue.
That sucks, I made it 2 years ago and wanted to come back for another. Sandfest is the same weekend, guess I'll swap the rockers for the paddles and go play in the sand instead...
Because of lack of help and the fact that the core wants us to have special insurance and permits there will be no actual Kansas Krawl this year. But on the flip side, September 15th, Plum Nutz Offroad, 4x4 land, and Motorsports Unlimited are having a free open to wheeling day(customer appreciation Day) at Tutttle Creek Orv Park, then a bar-b-q at the end of the day at the Randolph Park. All wheelers are invited to attend, and it is all free. Just show up! Hope to see you there!
I was just out at Tuttle last weekend- but wouldn't mind going again-- Man was it overgrown with sunflowers-- More then likely I will be the only explorer out there-- See you at the top of driveshaft
