I heard a rumor that this years KK isn't going to happen at Tuttle because the ACOE is requiring event liability insurance. So it may need to be moved to a different venue.

Can anyone confirm??

That sucks, I made it 2 years ago and wanted to come back for another. Sandfest is the same weekend, guess I'll swap the rockers for the paddles and go play in the sand instead...

i wonder if it has something to do with the fact that the TrailKrawlers4x4 website (club that used to organize the event) no longer exists?

I believe the Kansas Krawlers have been putting it on the last 3-4 years. Not sure what happened to Trailkrawlers, I had been wondering that also...

Kansas Krawl

Because of lack of help and the fact that the core wants us to have special insurance and permits there will be no actual Kansas Krawl this year. But on the flip side, September 15th, Plum Nutz Offroad, 4x4 land, and Motorsports Unlimited are having a free open to wheeling day(customer appreciation Day) at Tutttle Creek Orv Park, then a bar-b-q at the end of the day at the Randolph Park. All wheelers are invited to attend, and it is all free. Just show up! Hope to see you there!

Yeah I was hoping to hold the event at Kansas Rocks but I guess it just wasn't in the cards. Still would like to see some park though..

Bumping this back up top. Week to go, who's in? 4 or 5 of us from Hutch/Mcpherson are going up for the day Saturday.
