I have a older S&W model 19 in .357 that needs tuned. When you shoot it double action, it hits every other round. Single action works perfectly.
This gun was my fathers, and is priceless to me, its the ONLY thing i have of his!!!! I will only hand deliever, and pickup, no shipping.
Anybody know any good wheelgun repair men?
Thanks, Todd S.
Sounds like a weak or out of adjustment main spring. There is a screw on the front of the grip at the bottom. Carefully tighten it up a turn or two. If that does not work the main spring is very easy to replace, and you should be able to order one from any good gun shop.
Hope this helps.

I had a local gunsmith look at it a couple years ago and he adjusted the mainspring tighter..... I will make it tighter still and see if that works. If not, ill get a new spring!!
THANKS!
I honestly would rather just take it to someone... It really is the only thing i have of my fathers, so i dont wanna go screwin with it and fuck it up!
I will call them first of next week.
THANKS!
