I decided to step upto the big boy leagues and get a day cab Freightiner for my business to haul equipment and other loads. But having zero time driving a 13 speed, I just wasnt doing it right to bring the truck 250mi home from Dallas to Houston.
So as humbling as it is to admit defeat, I need to get the truck to my place where I can practice and learn the trans.
Im in no hurry, the truck is fine where its at, but I'd like to get it down here before the 28th, cause I'll be out of town for a week.
Ever drive a "super 10" speed? Or an 18 sp? It's the same except you can't split the gears in low, only high range. If that helps you any bro...... Good luck
Nice! Definitely gonna need pics of that thing. It was fun coming back from SC with Gavan in the ole Pete. Practiced for 4-5 minutes and hit the road
Yep, jump in and go. Once I got Pete out of low box :shaking: the rest was just like our 9 speed here at work.....other than the goofy shift pattern.
OP, if I had time I'd drive it down for ya. I'm a bit busy at the moment though. Learn the shift pattern and shift it just like a car, except you don't use the clutch other than to start off.
