The only place to really go would be behind Chandler Park by Berryhill. People have been going out there for years. It's not exactly public land, but...
We are going to meet at the TCC west campus, 7504 W 41st street south Tulsa OK 74107. Be there at 10 am Saturday morning. If you need any more info shoot me a pm. Good to see more than 1 or 2 people interested in coming out.
there is a small group (about 6-8 rigs) headed to Disney on Saturday that you are more than welcome to join. The plan is to arrive about 10-10:30 and wheel till it gets dark or cold, hit up dinner at the mexican restaraunt across the dam then head home.
Reclinaholic told me he was heading to Disney the other day but I'm doing my lift, disco's, steering and exhaust today and tomorrow so this weekend is a shake down for the mods going on. I was gonna head to Disney next weekend for my birthday with a few other buddies but who knows if they'll puss out or not.
Had a great time and good to meet you too Crystal, ok ok last time I promise!
Got some great pics and video from Saturday, I'll post a link to my youtube. Those Lexus LX450's were pretty bad ass. I have to admit I thought we were gonna have some pavement princesses worried about some of the trails we planned on hitting but you guys really impressed me.
My LJ did fan-F**KING-tastic with the 4.5 lift. I think I surprised a few people with some of the trails I made it up and down with open diffs. Probably gonna go out again on the 27th to test out a few more goodies. Not sure about Disney in Feb but If Im not on call Im gonna try to make it.

They're LX450s, more affectionately known amongst the Cruiser crowd as "Pink Panty 80s", being FZJ-80s.
The Lexus variation is more common in this part of the country, the only detraction being the (162) holes I had to weld up when removing the body cladding.
They impress me every time out. For a station wagon, they do fairly well.
Got in deep at Clayton and came out with minor damage, so she's trail worthy.

That was me in the Bronco. We had a good time. It was nice to get out and meet new people. I wish there were some tougher trails, but it's ok for being 30 minutes from the house...
You guys should be careful out there. And try not to go in off of 41st. I suggest going in off of Avery Dr. There are at least two spots to go in off of Avery. I haven't been out there in over a year now, but it is one of the better places to go in this area. Granted, it isn't exactly legit, but good none the less.
I made a very crude google map of the area a few years back, if you want it. PM me and I will send you the link.
Had a great time guys. I have been slowly posting more of the videos each day. There was over 5.5 gig I took and it bogged down my computer for two days trying to upload to YouTube. I have now been lowering the quality and uploading one at a time.
I was in the XJ and my name is Brandon
Here is a link to my YouTube page from the outing.
Had a great time with everybody. Dawson (LX with snorkel) ended up slicing one of those brand new KM2's but got it covered under DTD warranty on Monday. I pulled the rear apart Saturday afternoon and discovered it was a twisted spline causing the locker collar to bind. Delancy had an extra shaft available so I'm already back in business.
You all should consider Disney next month, the more the merrier!
Good to hear you got a shaft from Delancy, I had a couple set aside just in case. PM sent, going out Sunday after I get the currie stuff done on the front end and exhaust installed Saturday.
I don't edit myself, online or otherwise. I is what I is!:flipoff2:
