I'm in St. Louis, but I'm out of wheeling until I'm out of school and have enough money to buy a dedicated rig. Learned the lesson with my last truck (the one in my avatar) on having a DD/wheeler- having to fix whatever broke got old.
![]() But I DD an 86 f-150 on 35's that sees an occaisonal trail and mudhole. I typically play recovery vehicle, learned the lesson on body damage with my last truck as well. 12K winch, detroit locker front end, twinstick 205, NP435 Last edited by Hoxviii; 02-09-2009 at 01:41 AM. |

I have a 95 YJ Rolling on 39's 3/4 link with 5.3L & air shock. I try to get out as much as I can. I have been to Washita Offroad Park, for which is only 45 min from my house & also go to private land over in S.C. & SMORR.

I am a little north of STL. I live in St. Charles but have property in Troy. I am heading to Disney this weekend. I was wanting another rig to go since I had an empty spot on my trailer. Leaving tomorrow morning around 7 or 8. Best wheeling I have ever done no mud like the other places unless you want that then there is plenty. Mud ruins to much stuff rocks just bend things a big hammer can fix.

Chad,
I live on the hill. There is a new park in Farmington that is nice. We should be headed there soon. Just have a few things to iron out on some of the trucks first. We also go to SMORR in Springfield a few times a year. |

I'm close enough to St. Louis, I'm over in Alton, IL. Got a fullsize bronco 1988. I usually just watch at most of the events around here, since my bronco always seems to be broke down.
Custom Differentials - Dutch Mud (brighton, IL) - Buchanan Mud Fest - Flintland 4x4 - Going to Brownstown this year, and want to check out XRRA at Hannibal when it comes up. |

I live 2 hours east of you in Carbondale, IL. Check out our club website GAORC.COM. We usually wheel at Tellico (not anymore), Flat Nasty, or Harlan. We are going to Flat Nasty over memorial day and will likely go to Harlan, Clayton, and Hannibal at some point this season. Vehicles in our group range from TJ's on 33's to rigs running rockwells and 44" tires. We also attend a few competitions each year as spectators, last year we made it to XRRA Grey Rock, WE Rock finals in Hannibal, and King of the Hammers. Our first event this year will be the Grey Rock XRRA race the first weekend in May. Check out the site (GAORC.COM), we'd love to have some new members!
