Dan, on Sunday we saw your buggy on top of one of the climbs and came all the way across the granite to say whats up on our way back in before the rain. Didnt see anyone around that we recognized so we kept on.

We were probably working on a buddies rubicon, he ripped the trackbar off the axle and made for a long wet afternoon fix.

I had a great time!!! This was my 4th wheeling trip and going to Katemcy was a really fun experience!

Friday, Rob sheared 3 high steer arm studs and the knuckle was removed on the trail and brought back to camp to drill out the studs. On the way back, the clips on a fan bent and the fan fell off and broke 2 blades on Shane's rig so it kept overheating. Also on the way back a fan relay failed on Scott's rig. There were buzzards circling overhead when we kept breaking down, lol. I sure did learn a lot with all the breakage that went on throughout the weekend.

There were also 2 rollovers, one by Cal and one by Seth. I have Cal's in the pictures that are attached and will get Seth's up in the next couple of days.

(Edit: I'm glad I posted these pictures. The black background helps to point out where corrections need to be made.)

I made a picture collage of our Vegas trip and Mardi Gras for Rob’s mom as a Mother’s Day present and I really like how the collages looked! I’m not entirely sure if it is better to have rock crawling pictures by themselves or in a collage but I’m going to make the collages for this trip and see what people think.

This trip, our group consisted of mostly Contraband Crawlers and Team Feaux by Feaux. I made the collages you see posted on the way back from Katemcy Sunday and part of yesterday using PowerPoint, Picture Manager and Paint. I think I have enough pictures for 2 more collages.

I’d like to be able to send the collages to be printed as 5x7’s. I haven’t paid much attention to the ruler settings in PowerPoint, though, so I might have to do some finagling to get the collages to fit. I was also hoping to put the collages into a poster template in Publisher and then send the .pdf file to Kinko’s to print posters for people’s shop walls. It’s something I’m playing around with and I hope it turns out good!
