Daisy, OK Photos - Oct. 10

We went out to the new Daisy and did some wheeling this past saturday, we had a great time, the owner is a great guy really looking to make something of this place and he is sitting on a gold mine for wheeling. We got hooked up with joe who has cut most of the buggy trails around the ranch and knows the place inside and out. We went out with a big group of Jeeps and started on a nice 3-4 trail, then everyone took the bypass except Me, Billy, and Joe and he took us into a nice 5 trail, we actually ran it backwards but it was a ton of fun.

Here are some pictures, most are of my Jeep but ill get as many on here as I can.

This is Joe (trail boss) in the orange shorts

This is Joe's ride... he said he buffed it last week.

Nice pics! Where exactly is this place? We head to clayton at least once a year and this place looks like another good spot to go.

We'll be down this weekend running The Acres, how do we get in touch with the owner to gain access to this area if we want to try it out?

I dont know how to get in touch with the owner, the place isnt open yet, they just open the gates every once and while to get some traffic on the trails, if you showed up theyd tell you to leave. The owner (Charlie), and his son (Blaire) are great guys, they really want this place to work, Blaire is supposed to get ahold of me this week, ill keep pirate posted on the next time people can go out there.

There is a small group of us going to Clayton next weekend, and I hope there is a little less water on wet~n~wild. How many acres are at Daisy? Is there going to be a full day of wheeling by the time they get all the trails cut?

From what I have heard and/or read, there is more than enough land there with plenty to do once the trails are cut and opened up.

I cant remember how many acres it is, but its very large, and they are trying to buy some bordering property for more trails.

Im sure there will be, they have had a couple runs up there to cut trails and run over existing trails, just keep your eyes posted, when i find out about the next one ill post it here.

for sure, the trail system is really basic right now, with tons of potential, it could easily turn out to be just as good or better then clayton, plus they plan to put in hook ups for campers and stuff.

In the spring of next year excluding April I can put together a group of around 10 rigs to head up there if he has an open weekend early next year.

Daisy is called Buck Creek last time I talked to Charlie the part owner. You are right him and his son are really cool. They are very particular about garbage. (Ie along the trail) He plans on an rv area with hooks up,skeet shooting, fishing and hopefully someday a zip line...entertainment for the entire family. There are some fantastic ravines out there.
It is about the same size as Green acres. 1300-1500 acres. When you are at the intersection of 43 and the toll pike it is in the NE quadrant. The catch is you enter on the last gravel road north headin east on 43 before the toll pike. It is 30 minutes or so from Clayton,Atoka and Antlers.
Mike(Okie on ROF) usually posts work weekends on rubicon owners forum. He is out of Atoka and I believe Joe is too.

The place is going to be awesome. It is awesome to have a bunch of wheelin all in one area.
