It is about 1 hr NE of Tulsa, OK, about 15 miles south of Vinita, OK right off of I-44. Entrance is easy to find, just follow signs to Disney and turn in by the Fire Station, very small town, you shouldn't miss it. IF you do, well, maybe shouldn't be there, LOL! Anyway, very small town. I would suggest finding when someone will be there that has been there. Not a lot of really bad terrain there, but you can sure end up in a bad spot if you don't know where you are going, and water can get you in a bad way. Ask me how I know...

Disney is Probably one of the Best Straight up rock crawling Spots in the Midwest.... When you Get into disey and Turn Right right after the Firestation Go Down to the Campground and ask For hogan He is ussually there somewhere... If your Nice and He is in a Good Mood He will Show Ya around or at least tell ya How to get down there.. If Ya go on a weekend I am sure there is someone that will be glad to show ya around.... It Is a very Big Playground and yes water and Mud Holes can get the Best of you.....

So we are going to try some rocks... id like to try rocks. but i doubt i could get my 2wd back there. but im prolly going to tow-bar his truck up there. im sure when. If i can finish my nissan before christmas ill be up there with it. I live an hour east of tulsa, so it should be not to bad of a drive. i routinely go out to gruber, but i accidently pissed some hunters off....so yea. |

Point A is the entrance to public FREE parking for a day run. B is in the center of Hogan's if you want to camp or pay to park on his land. First tiem I towed a hauler over that Dam, I got about half way across and a frickin fire truck stated to come tword me from the other side. I was freaking out, I had never towed on a road THAT narrow, never mind with a 100' drop to one side. Last edited by Tulsachokehold; 12-09-2009 at 02:04 PM. |
