Just wondering where everybody is buying their DOM tubing in Oklahoma and what kind of prices are you paying. I'm in the market for a bunch of 2" DOM along with some other steel for shop projects this winter, so lets hear about some deals on steel.

Btw, I live about 45 miles west of OKC but have truck-will travel if you guys know of some bargains.

I use Special Metals in Okc for all my dom. Heavy and thin wall.

Hi Jay....Does speciality metals have DOM in stock? Have you ever bought any through Taylor and Sons?

Taylors claim they have no source for dom. But they do have good prices on hrew. I got a few sticks of the 1.75 hrew the other day at like $1.18 a foot.

On the dom Special Metals usually has what you would need and if they dont its in Houston and they are can have it in a day or so.

Special Metals are the cheapest I've found around. Metal Supermarket carries it, but they're not cheap. They will sell short pieces though if you only need a few feet. They're usually open on Saturdays until noon too.

I agree with Special Metals, they have never had what I wanted in stock but they are way cheaper than Metal Supermarkets. Just bought 6 sticks of 1 3/4 .120" wall DOM from Special for around 4.00 a foot. Supermarkets wanted more than 5.00 a foot but they had it in stock. True enough about Jerry too though, I did not realize he sold but was in there last week and he verbally abused me for not thinking of him for DOM. It won't happen again.

I'll definately hit him up for some DOM though

Jerry and Metal Supermarket both priced me 2" .120 wall 1026 DOM @ 4.25/ft today. Metal Supermarket had it in stock but I think when I figure out how much I need I'll just let Jerry order it up for me. Gotta support those who support what we do!
