Weathered the storm!
Well we did not get much snow here. Channel 40 said we got 3 inches here but at my house I barely have any on the ground but it is cold.I know you fellow pirates have gotten it worse but I guess we missed the worst of the storm.Hope at least everyone will be able to spend time with their loved ones this holiday season and hope to see some of you on the trails in 2010!!

We have 6 foot drifts on the side of the house. Had to pull a half a dozen folks out of the street, parking lot etc. Said we got 14.3 inches here in the city. Never seen so many cars abandoned on the side of the road, ridiculous.

side of the road? those bastards were leaving them in the middle of the road last night. made for interesting driving. I olved the guys out "rescuing" peole in their 2wd pickup. Once they stopped, they were done too. I know it's Christmas, but if ihad to pull the chain out last night, it was going to be a 50 dollar stupidity tax.

Christmas at my parents got postponed till tonight but we still made the trek in the van. Today with 6" and 2' drifts the XJ is getting out today. Now I just hope my dead MT's will get us there.

yep, I've got 14" on the back porch, probably only about 9 or 10" in the front yard.
Had to leave the van about a mile down the road because the road was blocked from people spinning out. by the time the tractor got there, there were 6 or 7 cars down there. I walked home and got the truck.

Pretty deep here also. It's easy to find 3-6' drifts in some places. My TJ handles it all pretty easily. I got stuck once. Tried to plow through a 4' snow drift going slightly up hill and my Jeep just sank. A little tug by a F350 and it came right out. I've pulled/helped like 5 people last night and this morning.

I just want to apologise to everyone for bringing the weather with me from wyoming. It would have been here sooner but UPS screwed up the package. I thought i had just sent enough for a little dusting in the metro, not a white out. So once again, sorry. On a serious note, i was not too happy that i came home for the holidays only for the weather to follow me. Then, when i get back to Wyoming its colder than Oklahoma (still) and they got even more snow than we got in Oklahoma while i was gone.

I was in OP KS, a southern suburb of KC. I pushed snow for 36 hours straight adn was up for 42 hrs without shutting the truck off. There were some cul de sacs where it was forkin DEEP. I heard about OK people abandoning vehicles adn stuff.
I had to push a couple out by hand too

Wouldn't be as bad if my Jeep was running, at least get out and play in it some... Oh well, get new motor in a week or 2. Watch, won't see a flake of snow after that.

I had a blast playing in the 6-8 inches we got out in Pink/Tecumseh. Fired up the beast early Christmas morning and went around the neighbor hood pulling people out. Only charged one person a stupidity tax after I pulled him out the second time. The roads were pretty nasty out here and unfortunatelly the plows don't run any where near my house.
