This is going to be a great deal for people who wheel,But the people who go down there to tear stuff up will hate it.

What is the situation of this? Is this at the same location that the mud bogs/sand drags in february are held?

Can you give any insite as to what were looking at for change? State funded trail builds? Pay at the gate type stuff? If they would come in and HELP build trails man people from all over would come running.

For those of us that probably won't be able to make it, can you give us a rundown on what happens?

From everything I've read and heard, this will be a good thing for the area

Not to speak for anyone involved, just throwing out what I've been told..........

It would turn the Canadian River area north of Amarillo into a state OHV park with facilities and such.

this could be a good thing. But isnt the Rosita Flats area goverened by the NFS? I go up there once or twice a year.

I think every time we go there, we find either a burned, flooded or rolled truck somewhere.

and what will happen to the people who squat there??? I think we ran across 3 or 4 camps set up out there last April.

This is what I'm hoping as well. Should be interesting to see how it all pans out but can't help and think that the people that go down there to actualy wheel will benefit from the changes.

Texas DPS was sitting at the exit, but saw maybe two cops running around down on the river.

Yeah, I'm staying home this year. Things slowed down after I got back from Tulsa and have been throwing money at my dirt bike. Next year though
