I have always heard of people wheeling in Ft. Stewart, but I don't know what would be the best area. If anyone has or knows anyone let me know.

It's been several years but I have been.

Here is the scoop. They have an phone sign in that notifies you of what areas are open. Tell them you want to go fishing, have a licence,permit, and a rod and reel.

What ever you do stay in the assigned area, and remember you are on FEDERAL property.
