Green Acres (also known as Rudy's place and Rock Creek ORP) has a lot of stuff that is do-able in a TJ with 33s, as well as some stuff that......isn't. Freiling's place has some good stuff also. Herd Creek, Ed's place, South Side, all names for the "old" trails south of town, also really good stuff. 3 Stage one of the more fun old trails there.
We usually stay at the A&A, in town, owners can tell you how to get to all of the major trail areas. |

Green Acres-the best and most extreme wheeling in Clayton and all of Oklahoma
Poteau-about an hour away, the trails on Cavanall Hill are 1b. next to Green Acres Hurd Creek-the older trails, but these are longer trail rides rather than independent extreme obstacles; if wet, 3-stage can become very extreme; the newer West Point trail is a good run as well! Freilings-about 20 minutes north-more loose rock/dirt climbs; has some extreme obstacles; Mr. Frielings is very useful and accomodating! There is still a trail in Yanush that is an oldie but a goodie. Once again, if wet, it can get really fun! |
