Rockfest 2010

Featuring extreme rock crawling, mud riding, ATV trails, live music, and so much more, Rockfest 2010 at the Great American Park LLC is Auburn’s hottest and rockiest event of the summer! Be there August 21 to experience the ultimate off-road event for trucks and ATVs, as well as some of the best music in Auburn. Rockfest 2010 has something for everyone of all ages, so bring your family and friends and get ready to rock the end of summer!!!

Come and watch some of the most thrilling and exhilarating rock crawling in Alabama as trucks take on the challenging obstacles and trails, including the never-before-seen Spencer’s Jaws! Whether you are a beginner or expert, or simply just want to watch, Rockfest 2010 at the GAP is the perfect place for you to enjoy some of the best rock crawling around.

While Rockfest 2010 is all about the rocks, of course, you can still enjoy a day of down and dirty mud-slinging action! All of the mud riding areas will be open on Saturday, August 21. If you think your truck is up to the challenge, check out the Boomerang, the Big Amazon, the Montezuma, or the Hogwallow, our four toughest and dirtiest places to ride! If stock is more your style, cut up in the Stock Cage riding area for stock trucks. If ATVs are how you get ‘er done, then spend your day splashing through the Dixie Waterbowl or cruising around our trails covering over 160 acres!

Rock out that night to live entertainment with some of the hottest bands around. Featuring Fly-by Radio and Leah Pritchard and the Drive, Rockfest 2010 presents a night of good music and great fun after a day of the best rock crawling and mud riding in the southeast. The concert begins at 5:00 pm.

Rockfest 2010 is THE place to rock out the end of your summer with family and friends. If one day just isn’t enough, then bring your tents and RVs starting Thursday evening, August 19, and spend the weekend with us! Whether you come for the weekend or just a day, you don’t want to miss the hottest event of the summer: Rockfest 2010 at the Great American Park LLC.
Please continue to check back for the latest updates on information for Rockfest 2010!

Rockfest 2010 begins Saturday, August 21, at 9:00 am. Guests who have not paid to camp must leave by midnight. The park will close on Sunday, August 22, at 6:00 pm. All guests must leave the premises at this time.

He or she will be given the exact number of camping wristbands for his or her camping party. It is his or her responsibility to ensure that all members of the camping party receive their wristbands. Anyone who is caught camping without the proper wristband will pay a $50 fine or be removed from the premises for trespassing. If you need to add additional campers to your party after you have registered at the gate, the person who registered must accompany the additional guest to the front gate to acquire another camping wristband.

There will be absolutely NO camping in parking lot areas. You must camp in the designated campground. Please respect other campers during quiet hours from 11pm to 8am.

This is an event you won't want to miss.

Come out and support a new park.

We will be on hand filming so you might even make it into the next DVD.

The event is super cheap especially since there will be music & entertainment by FLY BY RADIO!

These give a good idea of what's there, but are by no means everything there. Also there will be a new rock obstacle opening just for the event that should be damn close to impossible!

We went and checked out the park this afternoon and were very pleasantly surprised. I reall just wanted to test out some repairs and do some mild wheeling, but ended up getting into some really challenging stuff. The park is only 15 minutes from home for me, but I had yet to visit. This place has some pretty solid rock gardens and the owner is continuing to expand the obstacles. The new "Spencer's Jaws" looks like a bitch. If you are debating on checking it out, I would encourage you to go. Here are a few pics from this afternoon.

There was a huge turnout! I didn't get any pics, but I believe that there should be plenty to post up from other folks.
