Place to ride dirt bike near Valley Center\Escondido

CLIFF NOTES:
Need a place close to Valley Center\ Escondido were I can legally ride my dirt bike for a few minutes so I can test the bike after top end was rebuilt.

I had a new top end installed on my dirt bike and I think it is still having issues with it leaking oil from the crankcase vent when under a load at high RPMís.

I would like to take it for a test ride but do not want to drive over an hour (plus cost of gas) out to the desert.

Does anyone know of anywhere local (Valley Center\Escondido) were I can ride my dirt bike for a few minutes. I just need to be able to shift through a couple gears. I donít care about the quality of riding at the area just need a little space to open it up.

Even if you have a private road or something it would help (willing to bring beers if itís your property to exchange for use). I tried to do it at my house but my property is just not big enough to open it up.

I know you said legal but Nate Harrison grade would be where I'd go.

If you're leaking oil from the crankcase vent it's prolly the bottom end seals... Running a high risk of seizing the bottom end... From experience it's an expensive fix...

Do you know of any way to test for this without disassembling the whole motor? Everyone was telling me it was the top end so I replaced the top end. Rode it around my property which is not very big and it looked like it I was still leaking barley, but it was hard to tell and it could have been residual. I figured I would take it for a spin and confirm the problem and also break the bike in\let the new rings seat to see if that helps.

I was going to keep a close eye on the oil level during the test ride.

That's a good idea. I guess the entry fee's would be cheaper then gas to get out to the desert.

Or just past Pala another 10 miles & goto Amago Motorcross Sports Park on the La Jolla Indian Res. You can pay for the day a lot cheaper than Pala. Plus, less crowded.
