they finally let some water out. Have not wheeled there in yrs. hate that frickin mud. no pics of the rock garden??

Yeah, depending on how high your bug is, you might get water inside or may float. It can be more than half way up my 42's....

our bugs are tall with 18in. of travel not really made for this more for the high speed travel with woops at speed.. would make it if need be on a long run. You guys have fun I will stick with the desert where you would be less comfortable.

you need to be either 4x4 or green stickered to get in to Azusa, they dont let 2wds in...I have even seen the rangers look under front ends to make sure there are axles.

our Baja Bugs are registered as street legal although some police may disagree. does that help

I think you are on to something, staying in the desert. I do see some quads out there but I don't think it looks like that much fun. There are hill climbs and mud pits. Unless the water level is really low, there isn't enough room to go fast for too long.

the last time i pulled in to azusa, the ranger looked in through my window and made me demonstrate that i really had 4 wheel drive, as the atlas shifters were strange to her.
