Meet & Greet
Hey everyone!!!
Okay so I've lived here in San Diego for about 2 years now and still don't know very many people who go wheelin. So I was thinking we should have a Meet & Greet at some place that works good for everyone to check everyones rig out maybe grab some drinks and some food bring the family and meet everyone. I know we do this on the trail but some times not everyone can get away for that long, and who knows we could plan a good trail ride from the Meet & Greet. I was thinking like San Diego, Escondido, Oceanside, Fallbrooke, Visita, Temecla ....somewhere in that area. I know its hard for us all together but it could be a fun time. JEREMY |

You can try to get Trampas to man up. Problem seems to be that everyone has a problem with all the Sept dates.

I'm down, a meet and greet sounds like a great idea! Maybe we can get together some info from the other thread going about local trails too to share with everybody. I'm new down here and it can be a little difficult to follow where exactly all these places are at and what difficulty they are

I'm thinking maybe somewhere in San Diego or Escondido? depends on how many people live down here in the SD area? BUt I think Escondido would be more of a central location.
How does the 29th or the first weekend of Oct sound like to everyone? Don't know of a place to have it at yet so if anyone has any good ideas lets hear them. Jeremy |

Meet and Greet
New to SoCal. Would love to hook up with some people that know the local area. How about a meet and greet at a local trail or ?? Mine can't exactly roll down the road.

Meeting
"Ok so I can see this thread going on forever unless we put together a date and time.
How does the Dave and buster's in Mission Valley SD sound on SAT NIGHT OCT 13TH?" Sounds like a good date to me. I really don't know the area and couldn't tell you where Truckhaven or anything else is. What type of wheeling do you guys do around here? I'm in San Marcos.

At Santa Ysabel take a left onto Hwy 79 north. Go appx. 12 miles to S-2 and make a right turn. Go appx. 7 miles to S-22 and make a left turn. Follow S-22 through Borrego Springs. Appx. 25 miles east of Borrego Springs you will cross the San Diego county line and enter Imperial county. At that point there's a microwave tower on the north (left) side of S-22. Appx. 1.1 miles east of the microwave tower is where we usually camp, on the north (left) side of S-22. The wheeling area is in the hills to the north of the camp. |

NICE! Thanks for the info. What type of wheeling is out there? Trying to get my Toyota finished and would love to do a little test run! Also, is a camp ground close or a part of it? Thanks again
