I'm looking for an engine builder to long block my AMC 360 preferably in the North SD County area but I'd be willing to travel for someone with a reliable reputation.

Any recommendations?

Sorry for the late reply, Ive had numerous engines rebuilt at Mesa Machine but I cannot find a listing for them anymore.

If you want to build it yourself but have the machine work done; HDS in San Marcos does good quality work

Yeah, I don't trust myself enough to work on anything I can't visually inspect every once in a while.

I've been told "Smokeys" in Oceanside does good work. Ever heard of them?

Anywhere I should stay away from?

Ive baught(sp) alot of things from Smokey, but never had any machine work done there. I have met him and he seems like he does A+ work.
