Had a fun day up in Cougar Buttes....ran two new trails.....Figure 8 and On the Rocks.....Thanks Mike for organizing this run......

Those new trails look really good!
Are they marked in any way? (its easy to get lost in that area!)
Any GPS coords for the start?

marking stakes were put in place at key points, i am not sure if anyone layed gps tracks of the routes. there is one section of the first trail that had 1/2mile open desert between obstacles with a couple turns, may be difficult to find if noone has been there.

the second trail is fairly easy to follow once at the start, its shorter but loops back in on itself, some obstacles on the second trail were fairly difficult and recommend spotter.

we try to mix it up every weekend......the week before....we were at the hammers....prior to that we were at Cleghorn.....this week....we might go to calico.....that is if my junk makes it......

I see a group meetin there verry regularly. My family owns the property on the north west corner and quite often Im there when they go past. I always wonder were there wheelin.

quite often it is the myjeeprocks regulars, probly about 2 times a month or so. also seen other groups meet there, socaljk's, and some others.
