My wife and I will be moving to the Mesa, AZ area in the middle of April for an internship with Kiewit Construction. I am currently a member with the Snake River Offroaders in Idaho but since I am not familiar with Arizona, I am looking for a group/club to get involved with so I can enjoy Arizona's wheeling. Can someone point me in the right direction because I am clueless where to start. Thanks!
![]() By the way... I have a fairly built Toy, however I enjoy mild to semi-wild wheeling, not buggy type wheeling. Thanks

Check this out
Check out www.nissan4wheelers.com. The SWANKy portion of the forum is where they post up about runs. SWANKy is SouthWest Area Nissan Klub and yota's.
I wheel with them and they are a great bunch of people to wheel with. Desert Rat is the forum administrator. Stone is also an active member. Check it out. Go on a run. They are great to wheel with. |

FJ is where you'll probably be wheeling most. I'm only 20 min from there and there's tons of good shit out there. Everything from Sunday drive easy (Box Canyon) to extreme.

Thanks for all the input! Where is Table Mesa located? Any good trails located in the mesa/apache junction area?

table mesa is about 30 mins north of phoenix. On the east side (mesa and the like) there is florence. Good trails in both places. TM has the tougher ones of the two.
