i just looked a the weather survey, historically moab should have 60* days and about 32* nights during march... thats not to bad, depending on fire permits i would even camp during that weather

March and April are about the best time of the year to go there. By May it's starting to get hot during the day. Late september and october are nice also.
When it snows at Moab in march the snow usually melts with in a few hours.

We usually go in Oct-Nov. It starts getting cold around Turkey Day, but real fun. Last year we hit huge blizzards day after Thanksgiving.

Usually it's pretty nice at that time of year, BUT there have been a couple years with snow at that time. The odds are in your favor though.
