From Alaska to Prescott Arizona....

Hey all. Ive been contimplating making a move from Alaska to Prescott Arizona. I was wondering what clubs are around if any in that area....

i dont know of a many. but i do know of a few good trails up there and its great weather up there too.

Cool, its been awhile since I lived there. I never did wheel there since I was only there for like 6 months.

Yep, lotsa' times. Great place, 15 years ago.

These days it's just another crowded, law-against-everything city with fences between you and everywhere you want to be. The Prescott metropolitan area is the third largest in the state with over a quarter million fence buildin', no-trespassing sign hangin', build-a-permanent-residence-on-the-landscaped-remains-of-a-river-and-tell-you-your-4x4-is-ruining-the-environment people living there.

i love those types! "the ohv users are ruining the natural desert! CLOSE IT. wait, someone wants to build a 2,500 home subdivision? BULL DOZE IT!"

don't know about the prescott trails; however, do know there are some great trails in the sedona/jerome/cottonwood area.

i live in prescott and there isnt much as far as clubs. i believe there is a "no club" club and a local college club which i dont even know if it still exists. we really need a local club as when i have been in my trail rig or wifes jeep i have been flagged numerous times to ask what club i am in and where is the local club. i am in ZOA but a lot of trails are pretty far and hitting a 8 or 9am pullout time can be tough.

there are some pretty good trails around here in the bradshaws plus a ton of mining history. prescott does get seasons and just finally got rid of some snow in my back yard.it is getting crowded here though as the secret has been out so to say.
