1998 Land Rover Disco - Fully Built - Price drop
Here's the deal... I can't begin to explain how much I love this Rover, but due to several reasons, If I were to see a large sum of cash in front of me I'd have to let it go. My other pride and joy, my '69 f250 4x4 I restored and put a Cummins in, has a blown tranny that I don't have the money to fix and it's killing me.
This Rover is very capable offroad, and ready to run your local trails or take it through the Rubicon. Front suspension Custom radius arms/4 link Cromo heim joints SAW 2.5" remote-resi coil-overs with engine crossover SAW hydraulic bump stops and limit straps LED rock-lights Trussed axle with a full sewer cap 4130 steering and panhard rod, all on chromo heims. (Spare 4130 matching tie rod included) Fox steering stabilizer re-located Braided brake lines Rear suspension RTE 3" springs Fox 2.5" reservoir shocks on aftermarket shock mounts Poly bump stops, limit straps Half sewer cap RTE trailing arms Braided brake lines Interior Full DOM cage, tied into the frame, not mounted to the body like most, constructed entirely of .120 wall DOM. 3 suspension seats all with Crow 5-point harnesses, fridge/cargo mount on the right side where a second rear seat would otherwise go. Rear storage area has a removable shelf that splits your stuff up nicely. Rear seat’s harness bar is also now removable so the entire cargo area and rear seat can be removed in minutes to sleep in the back on the trail. A/C blows cold, Heater works amazingly. Cobra 29 CB with 102” SS whip and external in-cab speaker, running a perfect SWR. Kenwood stereo with AUX and USB Pioneer boxed 6x9’s that sound GREAT 8” subwoofer and 1000 watt amp. “racing” steering wheel Air compressor under passenger seat Switches wired for LED lights, LED rock lights, air compressor, horn 2 power outlets in cargo area Driveline Tru-tracs with 4.11 gears front and rear Maxi-drive front axles and CVs Rovertracks rear axles D2 front driveshaft, U-joint rear Drilled and slotted rotors front and rear Motor and tranny run strong, and shift smoothly. Spare axle shafts Exterior custom front winch bumper with a Superwinch ep9 along with synthetic line and aluminum fairlead, Rover solutions sliders with added 1.5” tube for more protection. Custom Rear quarter panel sliders. 6 15" steel wheels and 5 33x12.5" BFG mud terrains with plenty of tread. (3) LED bar lights… bright.. Custom tube rear bumper with a swing-out spare tire carrier pivoting off of an actual Dana 44 manual-locking hub… and yes, the lockout is functional! Dual batteries in rear of cargo area on a "boat switch" located near driver. 000 battery cable throughout. Optima Red top Dual Hella horns. A little over 144k miles I'm sure there's a bunch more that I forgot to mention. $9,500 and I keep the sub/amp, CB/antenna and LED's. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() More Pictures Realize that some of the pictures are from a month or so ago and some things changed up to where it's at now. http://s283.photobucket.com/albums/k.../1998%20Disco/

I'll take a daily driver + cash as well.
Doesnt matter what. Anything I can drive while the Rover is gone and I'm fixing the other truck. As long as that daily driver + the cash on your end = my current asking price. And the daily driver can't be worth more than $5k as I will need a few g's cash to fix the truck.

BACK UP FOR SALE.
Long story, but the "buyer" has disappeared... leaving me in a shitty money and vehicle situation.

Sorry to hear your buyer flaked. I love this rig, but wife would kill me if I brought home another "adoption".

Thanks.
Definitely not pushing to sell it anymore. Took it out on some night missions last night and remembered how fun this beast is. Crawling and go-fast... with the tunes and A/C is hard to let go of! But if someone is serious and I see $8,750 cash I'd still have to let it go to complete my other truck.

Took more pictures... can be seen here...
http://s283.photobucket.com/albums/k.../1998%20Disco/ ![]() And spent several hundred in tune-up goodies. Mobile 1 synthetic oil change with wix filter, new Champion spark plugs, new belt, and tomorrow i start on the Chevy S10 power steering pump swap. Also picked up a new rear door latch to fix that.
