1967 Ford Country Sedan Station Wagon $600

Up for sale is a 1967 Ford Country Sedan. I bought this car off ebay about a year ago. I drove it home, about 20 miles and it has sat since then. The guy I bought it from tried to say that he would've trusted driving the car to LA and that it was super dependable... He lied. The car starts right up but I beleive it has a dead cylinder. Once the car warms up it begins to smoke some. I drove 20 miles on the highway home and it did ok but if you are driving more than that I would plan on trailering it. I would probably plan on rebuilding the 390 V8 that's in it. It has an automatic transmission, a C6 I beleive. The tranny and rear end seemed fine in the limited amount of driving that I did in the car. The body is fairly rough. Just about every panel on the car has a dent in it, most will be very easy to pop back out though. I would probably plan on getting a new driver front fender for the car. There is some surface rust but there is no cancer (rust through) anywhere on the car, it's very dry. I beleive all the glass in the car is fine. The interior door panels are all original and all in surprisingly good shape. The rear seat is in good original shape. It has two seats in the cargo area of the rear that fold into the floor and I beleive they are both in good shape. The driver bench seat is torn on the driver side. You could fit about 10 people in the car comfortably. The headliner is falling in the rear of the car. The carpet is pretty thrashed as I recall. The electric rear window motor is not working and was removed (but sitting in the rear of the car) before I bought the car. The dash is all original and uncut. It still has the original AM radio in the car and it does work. All in all this car is a bit rough but I think even just with a rebuilt engine it would be really fun to cruise. That was my plan for the car but I have since moved to Tucson and it is sitting at my parents house in Marysville, CA, an hour north of Sacramento. I need the money alot more than I need a car sitting 900 miles away from me. I have listed a lot of negatives about the car but I just wanted to be 100% honest with potential buyers of what it is that they are getting. Like I said, I feel that the car has a lot of potential, but I guess that can be in the eye of the beholder... If you have any specific questions feel free to ask. sorry about the pictures but that's as good of ones as I have got. I encourage locals to swing by and check the car out themselves if they so choose. Help me get a 4X4 GUYS!!!
Adam
