1964 Kaiser MUTT M151 - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum

This is an ex-military Jeep made by Kaiser. It was stationed at Ford Ord military base in central California during Vietnam. This was called a Fast Attack Vehicle used by all the armed forces. This one was an ARMY Jeep. The original odometer still works and shows 15,000 miles. It is 4 wheel drive like most Jeeps but these have full independent suspension with A-arms instead of leaf springs. Many things have been replaced with original parts. The only thing I had left to do was install the headlight switch assembly. Thats why I say it's about 95% restored. It runs and drives good. It is registered in CA and is current. Engine has had a major tune-up and all the fluids changed. The OD paint is new. The tires are newer but still slightly used. The seats are new as well. The engine/tranny/t-case are all stock. The only things needed are to install headlight switch and windshield glass. Thats pretty much it. Fun little Jeep to drive that is very unique and has some history. $5290
