As most of you know, I just acquired this Jeep thru a trade with Luke (Cheddar). After much debate with my wife, we decided we couldn't keep it. We needed to keep my truck because of future plans with work, and she doesnt want to drive the Jeep as a DD because we plan on starting a family soon. This is an awesome Jeep, I can tell you for sure that if I were a single guy, i'd keep this thing in a heartbeat over my Dodge! I've been driving it every day since I've got it & I love driving it. BUT she's right, we can't afford to have 3 vehicles.

You all knew it was coming, don't waste your time trying to talk me out of selling it, it's got to happen!

serious inquiries only, call me (Ryan) 850-910-3823

as promised... here are some "being washed" pictures. The carpet & back seat came out, Jeep got vaccuumed good, scrubbed with brushes & sponges, then rinsed carefully as to not let any of the "goods" get wet. Tomorrow I'll back it out of the garage before I go to work & let the seats dry out in the sunshine and really get to detailing the inside tomorrow after work. Then the carpet & seats will be cleaned & reinstalled.... then I'll get to working on the undersides...

Ooh! I was looking for an LJ anyway. Ask your wife if she's still interested in my truck.

Charlie, beautiful truck man it really is! I've already got an 07 Cummins though

You see the glimpses of that little silver cherokee in the pics? I can't seem to convince my wife that thing is a pile of shit and not long for this world. I've even offered to trade in the LJ and her XJ and buy her a brand spanking new Tacoma.... no go

I wonder how many more rescue trips on the gooseneck that little XJ is going to have to take back to the house before she realizes its junk? I don't know.... until then this will have to be a no-trade deal

...Otherwise, I plan to sell the truck when we get to CO, then look for an LJ. So maybe if you still have it. Cheers!

This LJ came from a very good friend of mine who was the original owner, needless to say I know the entire history of this thing. The RE kit was installed on the lift at the hobby shop on base where I work, the chromoly's were installed in my driveway....bla bla & spotted for him at every major outing this thing's been on. (Tellico, Grayrock, Morris Mountain)

Also... if it really floats your boat, you can be the legal 2nd owner! I havent transferred it to my name yet, title is still open & clear!

NEW PRICE $18,500

I've had a few emails regarding bottom dollar price if I took some stuff off of it, let me know what options you do/don't want and I'll take half of retail price of item(s) off the price of the Jeep. I say half of retail because thats "probably" what I could sell the parts for. Email/PM/reply on here for a quote!

I can swap out axle shafts back to stock & keep the chromolys, i can keep the winch, winch plate, grill guard, bumpers, tire-carrier.... pretty much anything on it can come off. I've even got a set of stock white TJ fenders i can throw on if you dont want the tubed ones

on that same note, if you wanna jazz it up even more (personally... psc rocker knockers, crushers with 3" flare & tubed fronts with 3" flare all professionally painted, 1/2" spacer up front to "level it" & swap 37's for a set of 315's i've got along with some nicer wheels.. )

Any reason why it wouldn't make a 750 mile road trip?

also, what's hanging off the back of the console?

You'd run out of gas...

Honestly, i'd get in this jeep right now & drive 750 miles without hesitation, hell I'd probably take it over my 07 Dodge, its a lot more fun to drive!

Hanging off the back of the console is an external speaker for the CB, that tiny speaker on the handset is all but useless when the tops off or the windows are down.

I forgot to mention, along with the tires being balanced normally, this thing has centramtic wheel balancers installed. The kind that mount on the wheel studs between the brake rotor & wheel.

OK two more things and I'm going to bed.

#1. A friend of mine has the exact same wheels that are on this LJ, but they havent been painted (still polish alum) & offered to trade me if i threw some cash into the deal. That can be arranged.

#2. Another friend of mine has a set of 315 Mickey Thompson MTZ's with less than 2,000 miles on them & wants these 37's pretty bad. I would have to source some 16" wheels (37's are mounted on 15" wheels) BUT, this can also be arranged.

Just givin you folks some options

STOCK 4:10 (4:11?)

The close ratio 6spd keeps everything in check on the street & the 4:1 tcase lets you go as slow as you need to go.

Are the current rims powdercoated? If not, I'd like the polished rims.
Either way, I want to work a deal on this Jeep. I'll be contacting you soon, but as long as everything checks out, consider it sold. I'm pretty booked up this weekend, but please let me know before you do anything with it. Thanks.

Hey, it's my old jeep!

I have to say this jeep is definately highway worthy, if you don't mind keeping the gas tank full. I just drove this Jeep from Tallahassee to Navarre, 70 to 80 mph the whole way on I-10, about a 400 mile round trip, when I went to check out Krazeeun's TJ. Last year, the Jeep made the trip from Fla to Wisconsin (about 2500 mile round trip) when I went home for the Holidays. It's solid.

As for the rims, I aquired them in a trade, and the previous owner had painted them olive drab green. Rather than spend all the time to try to take them back to bare aluminum, I just rattle-canned them black and called it good. They're not pretty, but I wasn't trying to put together a pretty jeep.

The rig is definately worth what Ryan is asking. If I had the bank for two jeeps, I would have kept. Only reason I got rid of it is because Krazeeun's back halved TJ on d60s/39.5 Iroks/Fox Air Shox was too tempting of a trade.

Glad to hear/see you made it home alright last night. Sure was sad to see you haul off with my TJ, now I know how you felt when I drove off with your LJ

I've got a ton of response on the LJ, a few guys are saying they're going to buy it. I hope that no one would take offense to this but unless I get a deposit of some sort, it's first come first serve.

Also, I've got several questions regarding the status of the title. The title is free, clean & clear, no salvage title or leins on the title or any other monkey business. If you'd like to be the 2nd owner, I'll skip transferring it to my name & I can get you a bill of sale from Luke (Haywoodjablowme(cheddar)) and myself. If it bothers you for some reason, i can have it transferred to my name first, then signed over to you. Either way does not matter really.

Have a good saturday, I gotta go outside & put my poor bike back together so I can thrash it tomorrow at the track. Feel free to call! 850-910-3823 (Ryan)

PS.. Luke, thanks for the input bud!
