Ford Ranger/explorer rock crawler $2500obo

I have a 1994 ford explorer. It has a custom cage, and ranger cab built to fit the explorer chasis. Custom 3 link front suspension with a dana 44 front end and 8.8 rear end. Both axles have 5.13 gears and the rear axle has a lockright locker. The rear suspension is built with chevy 63" springs. Suspension works great!! Ford 4.o v6 with an automatic transmission and a borg warner 1354 doubler with manual shifters. Gearing is low and strong! The body is in decent shape for a rock crawler and a little paint would clean it up nicely. Tires are 36" tsl super swampers (radial) and custom steel wheels with weld on beadlocks.

The truck is close to being complete. All it needs is a fresh coat of paint, some gauges for the dash, a driver-side window, and windshield. Mostly cosmetic...

Includes much more!! There is an endless amount of parts.

This truck has been an ongoing project and I would finish, but im busy with school in Colorado and I must let it go soon. Finish the truck yourself or use parts for your own rig.

For information on the build and pictures look at this thread

Call 916-769-9516 if interested.

Send a message via AIM to RockRanger
What doubler do you have? Sad to see you have to sell it.

if you add in the torque converter its 200:1.

If you dont add in the torque converter it comes out to 117:1.

It seems that lately people have been putting the torque ratio into the crawl ratio. the gearing seems to work very well on this rig
