Be smart & use your money to buy a late 90s Ford Explorer 8.8 rear axle with 4.10 gears. You don't want to put $$ into a junk Dana 35. Spend your money wisely and do it right.
Get the 8.8 w/ 4.10s (w/ disc brakes) $200 or so.
Get 4.10 gears for your front Dana 30
Buy new perches & Driveshaft adapter flange.
Weld the rear spiders on the 8.8 (free)
Wheel safely & Have fun without breaking axles
shafts & having your tires fall off
You can run 35s-36s on this set up with no issues.
Point is = don't put a $350 locker into a Dana 35. The axle itself is worth $75 maybe?? When you can take that $350 and actually put it to good use & make your offroader BETTER. Think my friend.... THINK.
I have a factory trac lock for a 35 like new has not been used off road.
Let me know if this would work for u.
