What you saw was a prototype. We thought they would be ready to release pretty quickly, but testing on a few Jeeps last week at EJS prompted us to extend the release date further out until we have a proven product we can stand behind.

There are units being sent to trusted people right now to get more feedback. Once we have release a date we'll let everybody know

Any chance these could eventually be offered in a 40 spline version, or is that just totally beyond the realm of possibility with the existing design?

Are they going to be stronger or better then the Warn's? Will the be as good as the Dynatrac's. Why buy the Yukons over others. I know your warranty is easier to deal with then Warn but I like a product that I don't have to deal with Warranty issues.

Same question/concern. I am considering these when available instead of drive slugs.

When these are closer to being released we'll have pricing info available.

As far as there being 40 spline versions, not in the near future, but if there is a large demand down the road we'll consider it.

Based on the current design, maybe. The only problem is the bigger OD of the shaft, leaves less spline engagement between the two drivers. So I'd think without a little bit of work, I think a 40 spline version of these might be weaker than the 35 spline. But I think with some material changes, and maybe some tooth engagement changes, it could be done.

Should be 3 times stronger than the Warn's and equal to the Dynaloc's, IMO. I've not seen any numbers from any of them yet, so I'm speculating based on what I know of the design and the materials being used. These should be strong enough, that no matter who's axle shaft you have, these should be plenty strong for that application and not be the weak link.

Exactly. No warranty is worth that. It's like the Precision u-joint. Yeah, it has a lifetime warranty where the Spicer doesn't. But 1 Spicer u-joint will far out live several Precision's and for not much more on the cost

And you know as well I as I do, how easy Yukon is to deal with on warranty issues.

When I had them on my website for the few days when I thought they were released, I had them listed at $339.04, which was current MAP pricing.

Another fine Yukon product. Dynaloc strength at the Warn price

To echo Wayne's response, I was testing a prototype set at EJS as well, and they're substantially stronger than the Warn units. I have broken several Warn 35spline hubs, and ran stuff with the Yukon's that I KNOW would have broken the Warn's. These things are incredible, and will be released fully once a couple minor bugs are finalized.

While touring the Yukon facility Friday we were able to see these hands on, and watch the install of a set onto a test vehicle. The machining, fit, and finish on the part's is impressive, and meeting the engineer who had been on the project since day 1, and seeing how hands on he was with install and fitment was impressive to say the least.

These hub's i highly doubt would ever be a weak link in a front drive system, they look to have 5x more engagment than most mechanical lockers do!

As far as I know all of the test rigs have been trouble free for the past month or so..... I'd imagine they've finalized the drawings and ordered parts to start making kits.
