Spartan Locker doudt
I am planing to install a Spartan locker on my toyota 8in 4 Cyl front end.
I`ve heard some people say that I will need chromoly axles, and other says than no if the tire is not larger than 35 in, I am running 35`s BF KM. Can I install it without chromoly axles an have a reasonable success? |

Yes, you can have resonable success with a spartan locker and 35's. We've installed them in several vehicles local to us running 37-40in tires with no issues to date. Some with 400+hp.

I have a lot of TG parts on my rig but when it comes to birfs its Longfield all the way. You might want to search this in the toyota section as there are many threads dealing with this subject.

I've been running the same set of Long's since 2005 with no issues on 38's. Been through Hammers, Fordyce, Rubicon ect..... I bent an axle housing and ripped a steering arm out of the knuckle, but the 30 spline Longfields are still good and now going to turn 39.5" tires. Quality product!!!!! |
