I would be up for a rebate on a zip locker! It would make my decision easy between the ARB and Zip.

You guys could always ask a Yukon dealer for a price quote. After seeing the cost at several hundred less than an ARB, and the collateral damage warranty, it should be an easy decision. And if that doesn't help, buy the $50 lifetime warranty!

I emailed Yukon directly and they are not offering any rebates/discounts at this time.

Either way still I had my front Zip installed yesterday!

Do you think the Lifetime Warranty is worth it and/or necessary?

I have Zip Lockers in my rig. V8 power and 37" stickies. I've busted 4340 shafts around the lockers (front and rear) and have yet to have a locker issue.

Keep in mind this is the same rig that used to have ARB's in it, with the same Yukon 4340 shafts. I busted the front ARB, and only twisted the splines on a stub shaft.

I did not purchase the lifetime warranty with my Zip's. I've only sold a few Zip's with the extended warranty. I've sold a lot of Zip's and have never had one come back for warranty consideration.

...Believe me, with the Yukon vs ARB threads going on I think you'd hear by now if there was any problems....
