The course travelled through sandy washes, rocky mountain trails, tight switchbacks and deep silt. The only spot where drivers could let out a breath were the sections run on the beach.

Robby Gordon of Charlotte, NC, driving his #77 SPEED Energy / Toyo Tires® Chevy CK1500 trophy truck, won the 501-mile race in a time of 10:04:36.
