Robby Gordon Remains Undefeated in Class 1500, Finishes Third Overall
CRYSTAL SPRINGS, NEVADA – Team Toyo® Off-Road’s “Ballistic” BJ Baldwin won overall in the Canidae Tap It Silver State 300 held this past weekend near Crystal Springs, Nevada with a time of 5:25:56. Fresno, CA-Team Trail-Gear Racing took home top honors at the Ultra4 Western Regional Series Cinco de Baja race just outside Albuquerque, New Mexico on Saturday, May 5, 2012. Driver Matt Messer and co-driver James Schofield beat out more than 50 drivers across 12 classes to achieve the overall fastest time and the unofficial fastest lap speed of the race. March 25, 2011–Las Vegas, NV: At race mile 11.5 of The Mint 400 Kevin Sacalas of Big Ugly Racing experienced a rollover at 96 miles per hour (MPH). While this was Sacalas’ first time racing The Mint 400, he is no stranger to desert racing. JEAN, NEVADA – Robby Gordon proved dominant once again in the 2012 Best In The Desert racing series, winning his second consecutive race this past weekend, the Mint 400. Gordon piloted the SPEED Energy/ RPM Offroad / Toyo Tires® open wheel Class 1500 buggy to a margin of victory of more than three minutes over the second place finisher, finishing the course in a time of 6:05:54.
