OCTOBER 7, 2012, Sparks, NV. - Valley Off Road Racing Association (VORRA) unveiled its 2012 race series today, with plans to expand on the popular USA 500 and returning to Fallon, Nevada for a 250-mile night race.

RENO,NV SEPTEMBER 8, 2010: The VORRA Hawthorne 225 desert race Labor Day Weekend was a great success. There were over 40 entries with more than half finishing in a perfectly executed desert race. The weekend also included a parade of off road desert cars through downtown Hawthorne, and the movie premier of Dezert People 8 at the El Capitan Lodge and Casino. GARDEN GROVE, CA AUGUST 20, 2010: Raceline Wheels are so tough they can run without a tire for multiple miles in the rough Nevada desert. Jesse Haines crossed the finish line without a tire for over 10 miles, and Chris Ridgway made it 20 miles to the next pit on a Raceline Wheel. The desert heat of the day will be a minor issue as the night race falls under a half moon Saturday July 17th. RENO, NV JUNE 22, 2010: Despite all obstacles, VORRA produced an epic race over Father’s Day Weekend, June 17th – 20th, 2010. The Xtreme Outlaws 250 race started with the Grand Sierra Leap then paraded down Interstate 80 to the green flag where they went into the wild desert for four laps of brutal and fresh terrain. Class winners Chuck Dempsey, Patrick Timmons, Gary Herrod, Mike Shaffer, Jay Schroeder, Greg Jones, Vince Viola, Kevin Yoder, Terry Shelton and Dennis Jean made their way through the Nevada desert to complete one of the toughest VORRA races yet.
