Carson City, NV – Shaffer’s Offroad is excited to take the Torchmate 1705 JeepSpeed to the Mint 400! We’re prepped and ready to hit the second race of the season. This race will be 4 105 laps, to make a total of 420 miles. First to take the wheel is Lance Clifford, of Pirate4x4, and his co-driver Dave Schneider, of Shaffer’s Offroad. At the half way point they will meet up with Mike Shaffer, of Shaffer’s Offroad, who will drive the second leg and will be navigated by Dave Gibson, also of Shaffer’s Offroad. Recently we got the jeep back from the dyno shop and after some tuning we gained 30HP and 70 foot pounds of torque. We’re stoked to see everyone out there and have a great time doing what we love most, RACING!
