On Memorial Day Weekend, 1998, The Pirates of the Rubicon made it's attack on the world famous Hammer Trails. Unfortunately, due to an uncooperative employer, not everyone was able to attend (Jeff and Lance). Bob, Maniac, Dan, Vince, Kate, and Lori did make the trip, and had a great time. The only breakdowns on the trip was a burnt up tranny on one of the tow rigs (which got ditched in Bakersfield!) and a broken rear axle on Bob's Commando when he was playing Ivan Stewart in the Bomb Craters!

Our 2nd annual 1999 Memorial Day Sledgehammer run is only 3 days away! Just about the entire club will be attending (except a few chickens!) so it should be a wild weekend. We already have dedicated videographers, and photographers for the event, so I promise there will be great pictures on the web!
