I've got a glide behind a LS1 and goes into a 5.0 Atlas, 5.13 gears in the diffs. Works well for me. In low, I'm really low, and in second gear I wish I could go faster. Instead, I can work the levers to high and let it go. I've thought about a different Atlas, but I don't care to spend the money.

Done over 70 mph, GPS speedo, on a lake bed at the Hammers. I had plenty engine left but have no idea what my RPM's were. I can cruise dirt roads at 50 mph and push into the 60's in the wash. Good enough for rec wheeling.
