Looking to replace the leaky steering gear on my 91 T4R 3.0 5 speed, running 33's....is there a junk yard upgrade I could direct bolt in, or is the steering gear model specific?
Thanks for the help,
Mike
Since this was posted under the "Truck and 4Runner" section, figured most people could have understood the question.....my mistake. For those looking for this same information, there is no known junkyard upgrade for the 2nd gen 4 Runner steering gear.
Full hydraulic. There are no bolt on upgrades for stock trucks. These boxes get used with 40inch tires. The problem is usually them ripping off the frame
They sell rebuild kits for 29 bucks. Pickup boxes fit. There are 2 different boxes. Short snout and long. Short is early. Neither is an upgrade.
