Do you have a place to store a few cords of wood? Do you mind hauling it in nightly? Dirt, bugs etc. etc.
You are already accustomed to using and storing pellets. I would say get a quality pellet stove (Harmon seems to be the big name here) and keep on keepin on.
Any experience with coal? Most coal stoves don't require electricity, burn for many hours consistently, can be very pretty stoves (Franco Belge) Clean ashes once a week, profit?
Of course you would have to store coal but it can be purchased in bags or bulk.
