thanks! yeah I actually looked at the underside of a chevy 1500 truck to get an idea of how they routed the exhaust, with the front driveshaft in place and all. im glad the header collectors are 2.5", any bigger and the piping would have not fit how I have it now.
The radiator I used is an aftermarket aluminum radiator for a nissan 240sx. I am using one on my racecar (which also has a 5.3) and it keeps it cool just fine, and my buddy had this radiator and fans lying around not being used, so I got it for cheap!
I still have both original patrol driveshafts to cannibalize when it comes time for custom driveshafts...thanks though!
