This right here. I killed a V6 lunchbox in a hi pinion front in short order. The 4 cylinder models are actually stronger than the V6. The side gears don’t break, the teeth get rounded off making it useless. I actually have pictures of mine on here from 2006? I ended up replacing it with the rear Detroit and putting an elocker 3rd in the rear axle.
