Zamboni Axles, Dana 44, 60, narrow

Looking for $3000. Will trade/partial trade up or down for VW buses, AK-47, M1-Garand, or other things I might find interesting....

Dana axles from 4wd zamboni. They are really narrow. Great for a jeep project, narrow track project. Currently installed in zamboni. Never abused, have never gone over 10mph.

Zamboni model HDB (also HD, HDA, and maybe HDC) Dana 44 front (8lug)about 51" WMC to WMC, , with 5.87:1 (not sure on technical term, but the axle bolts to the hub, there is no "locker")
Rear is a Dana 60 about 50" WMC to WMC, with 5.85:1

These are currently installed. The Zamboni runs and drives around. If you are local, you can take the whole Zamboni minus the engine for $3k. I'll also remove the axles and ship them via truck at your expense. The boni has a neat hydraulic transfer case and other interesting parts. Located near Madison, WISCONSIN.

I can't post images or links by the site rules. if you want to see it you can go to jogrusa.com and search zamboni, or email me.

They might be, I haven't opened up the diffs.... If you think they are too expensive, I'd be happy to hear an offer. I know they are rare, and neat. Thanks for the interest.

Not trying to be a dick, but there is nothing special about these. yeah they are narrow, yeah they have steep gears, and yeah pass side knuckle prolly already milled/drilled/tapped for crossover, but all that combined isn't worth asking price. They would be cool under my sammi tho....

I mean hes asking 3k for the entire thing not just the axles. After parting it out and scrap youd probably have about $1500 into the axles which is not too cheap but not crazy for narrow geared axles.

it has hydraulic steering too... which people like. these 8 bolt 15" alloys are worth something too.lots of cool parts. If you are localish or want to pick it up its a great deal.

And if you do just want the axles, removed and shipped to you, just make an offer maybe we can get together on it.

Except scrap is worth exactly zero right now.

If this this is worth anything remotely close to $3k, this isn't the forum for it.

Pretty sure most people would just give that thing away. $3k is just insane.

scrap by me is $120 a ton for shred. So not exactly zero, but you're right
