Elusive 76-78 Cadillac Rear Eldorado Caliper Parts Actuating Kit

As these E-brake calipers get a bit long in the tooth they are getting harder to come by and as a result the components to make them function correctly have not been sold by GM for roughly 15 years. Sure you can buy them on loaded calipers for a premium but we decided to give you guys another option since we are producing them and have been in bulk on our full kits for years now.

Admittedly, we have been asked a number of times to sell these as a kit for those of you who would like to assemble your own e-brake calipers. Until now we had shied away from doing so for vendor resale issues.

As some of you know I am the original owner here at GLO and since taking back over a month or so ago (see below link) and in light of building our new site we decided to make these available. This is part of us taking a solid look at our product line and moving it in a way that works for all customers. We are trying to produce products that help our end users first and foremost.

https://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/gene...ip-update.html

What you see is what you get. Each kit comes with the brackets and springs to complete a full rear axle (both sides or a matching pair of calipers), all you need to do is add the reman calipers of your choosing. We are also including a basic set of instructions written by us that goes over the adjustment of said calipers and the normal issues that arise when installing them and adjusting them correctly.

We are offering these in kit form for $65.00 delivered flat rate USPS box. For the time being and until we can get our site completed if you would like to purchase these give me a call or a PM here will work as well. Thank you, Shawn

I know blackbird made them several years ago because I picked up a set from him about 8 years ago.

Yep, they were Paul Bowman's. Same guy I made parts for wholesale for 20 years. Also the same guy you bought parts from when you started then copied his design as your own. Only difference is I had his consent when I started selling them unlike you. Main reason we did not sell them until recently. Please stay off my posts, harassment is not allowed here on PBB by other vendors. You have a lot of balls Sean.

OP.

I've got a original set of these calipers and brackets off an old caddy. Been sitting on a shelf for at least a decade, probably twice that long. Would you have any use for them?

I originally got them on the premise that I'd eventually want to install them for the e-brake function, but, that just hasn't happened.

If so, send me a PM.

Tony
