X-DFF GEARS AND AXLES RIP OFF

X-DIFF GEAR & AXLE....RIP OFF ARTISTS
BOUGHT GEARS FOR MY FJ80 FROM THESE GUYS AND HAD THEM SET UP BY A SHOP AND THEY WERE EXTREMELY NOISY RIGHT FROM THE START

SENT THEM BACK FOR WARRANTY....A MONTH LATER I GOT GEARS
PAID FOR A SECOND SET UP AND THEY WERE AS NOISY AS THE FIRST

SENT EMAIL AND CALLED X-DIFF GEAR & AXLE...I GOT A REPLY AND IT WAS WAITING FOR A REPLY FROM MOTIVE GEAR
THAT WAS 3 WEEKS AGO... CALLED MOTIVE GEAR WARRANTY DEPT, THEY HAD NO RECORD OF X-DIFF GEAR & AXLE EVEN CONTACTING THEM.

I'M OUT 2 SET UP FEES,GEAR OIL X 2, PLUS A MONTH OF DOWN TIME FOR THE FIRST AND SECOND GO ROUND

THESE GUYS ARE LOSERS DONT BUY FROM THEM

Thats what you get for buying motive gears.

Got a pic of the patterns? Ive yet to see motives setup with a proper pattern. I wont purchase, sell, or warrenty them either.

Who set them up?

The problem you have isn't with the gears...... It's with the shop that set them up! that's who you should be mad at! I can tell you with certainty that it wasn't a gear problem that causing your noise, it was shitty setup!

I have run Motive gears without a problem, they are a ring and pinion made wherever out of whatever just like 90% of all the other ring and pinions out there .

I think I'd be looking at your setup guy fo sho .

I set up a ton of gears motive being the second most Yukon gears 1st.. Total newb is right motive can be tough and aggregation to say the least.+2-2 will set it way off. I tell ppl to spend the extra coin..a dd is a must . ,take the pinion out yourself check the shim pack under the inner bearing most toyota run around. 0.072 or 0.078 I believe +10 or -10 would be the most either way 3-5 is normal ,go by the shop and ask the tech if he sets up gears he should recall how much he used .did I give u all ur old parts back if so measure the total thickness ur gonna have to remove the old bearing .go back an tell Them to make it right, not motive ..good luck ..ship it to me and ill set it up for a bill .I cant promise it will quite up completely but almost... it depends on how far it was driving on

I've setup a lot of R&P over the years and am yet to come across a "bad gear set". I had issues with cheap Chinese bearings that a guy bought off of ebay once.

Either way, I would go on record as saying that the odds of getting 2 bad sets of gears is slim to none!
