Roll cage kits

Roll cage kits for your 73-87(91) Full size Chevy pickups, blazers and suburbans. This is a basic 4 point cage. This should be considered a starting point for you cage. We'll be adding more options as we design them to complete your safety cage.

Our cage kits are constructed with 1.75" x .120wl. DOM tubing. All tubes are notched for you. The A pillar tubes are left a touch long on the bottom end for any last adjustments in fitment.

All mounting points are 1/4" thick steel. At the A pillar we are using our staked cage plate design and the the B pillar we are including some backing plates. We have included an additional mounting point which utilizes the factory shoulder belt mounting point. This is a great point to help spread the loads of the cage and is super handy when you're doing the install.

Another highlight of our cage kits is the "sectioned" design. The larger tubes are made in 3 pieces. This makes the entire kit fit into a relatively small box for a big savings on shipping. At the seam we have a 6" piece of 1.5" x .120wl. DOM tubing making the splice. We've already welded the splice into the bent section of tubing using 3 randomly placed rosette welds. This leaves you a simple snug slip together fit for the center piece. 3 holes are ready for you to make your rosette welds and then you can burn the seam together.

Additional models coming soon!

Check out the additonal images for some of the details. More pictures coming soon.

Maybe we will someday. Like I always say, never have enough trucks for R and D.

Got about a half dozen of the pickup cage kits out there now.

We've done one for a blazer. Hoping to see some pics from the customer of how it went together. R and D was loose and fast on the blazer cage by request of the customer.

Customization depends on what you want.

Yep, fit under stock hard top. This is the main cage from A pillar to B pillar. B pillar hoop is under the stock hard top a few inches.

Blazer cage is $450. Same as pickup cage if memory serves.

This customer added the dash bar and windshield bars. Those are not included in the kit.

So what do we need to do here. My truck is up and running and I HAVE to get a cage in. The most pressing is the rear where my kids will be.

Do you have any sort of full kit or would this be a one off? I know there is good demand for the full!

And you know I love your stuff!!!

Only thing preventing us from doing the full is getting a blazer in the shop. It could be done but working the design stage in between the other stuff its not gona be a quick turn around.

EDIT: thinking about it some more, what if we did up the very rear bar for you? The rest of the tube work from the B-pillar to the C-pillar should be pretty straight forward. Some spreader bars, X's and diagonals and you have a very nice cage.
