GM, for starters. I know of several swaps that are running the VSS in the t-case, but none are using the Destroked setup.

should be cool when its done, I also had started this same project years ago but the lack of after market parts to make it an easy swap I gave up and sold everything, i find it cheaper and easier to just use the duramax Allison combo good luck with the build

This is the first place that I have seen that 1995 was the year that the NP241 gear cut changed. I have a 2000 Series Allison and controller to replace the NV4500 in my Cummins powered Chevy K30. I have the Chevy 4x4 tail housing and output shaft and my K30 already has a RH drop NP241 with a VSS. Too bad the date code on my parts 241DLD is from 2001.

The input shaft and bearing are only about $150 to make the early 241c 29 spline from Midwest transmission center

Project got stalled for the time being. Not sure when or if I'll start working on it again.

Has anyone else here mounted the VSS in tail housing of the Allison? I'm doing a build and that's what I'm thinking.
