Question:

Any word on America's Best Value Inn in Yucca Valley? Looks like this is one of the best (ok available) options not too far away. Any other recommendations on hotels?

Don't forget Palm Springs is only an hour away, Yucca is about a half hour away.

?

But if it is the same people I think it is, they woke people up, because the ice was locked up.
If not, go fuck a lava lamp.

Please dont throw your empty cans/bottles into the fire. I'm really tired of people threatening to kick my ass after i tell them to fish their fucking trash out of the fire.

we've worked hard to place ample trash and recycling receptacles all around the fire. USE THEM.

He was trying to save us from that other guy that was driving at a reasonable speed. It's not like he could have ran after anyone.

As we walk around town checking out the vendor booths I always pick stuff up and throw it in the appropriate can. I'm sure I'm not the only one but more people need to help keep the place clean. I see a lot of stuff blow out of a vendor booth and they don't notice it and it get away before they know it (not the vendors fault completely) just help

I know Dave is out in JV prepping for the race, but can anyone else provide more info on the KOH week schedule? Last year there was a list of events like Miller Welding night for the girls, Dyno testing, times for (qualifying) Power Hour etc.

So far, this is all I can find:
Upcoming Events | Ultra4Racing.com

Any more info would really help

The Miller Welding ladies night was cool , my wife now comes out to the shop to use the plasma and she is starting to weld a little, I would throw a 20 for that to happen again

Question: headed to KOH for the week, and traveling from South Dakota. Don't really want to haul 60 gallons of water for 1300 miles. How does a guy fill a number of 5 and 7 gallon water containers in CA? Are their places (like gas stations) that sell water by the gallon for "x" cents per gallon?

Hit up a campground? Will a store let you use their hose bib?

Will be staying in vegas for the Super Bowl, so I suppose I could be "that guy" and fill 'me up in the room, but what a pita.

Any pointers for an easy place in vegas, Barstow, Lucerne valley?

Thanks

You can get water at the Flying J in Barstow, or Lone Wolf Colony in Apple Valley.

Thanks.
Plan on stocking up on food/supplies/ice @ lucerne valley at the Market, but was unsure of water.

Thanks again

Edit:
Just called the flyn J in Barstow, and the potable water is at the pump islands, and is free for filling jugs, RV's Excellent. Will be topping off diesel and gas for quads and bikes there.

This will save my crew from needing to haul (what will total over 1000 lb) of h2o from 5 states away.

Thanks again for the pointer!

LAX looks like the airport to fly to. About 3 hour drive from there.
