I hate to sound like the stupid guy, but the EMC/UTV map RM markers stop at RM 87. I assume we just pick up at RM 6, 7, ..etc and make the same loop as lap 1?

Number one reason we're seeing is with signal - make sure you have a good signal, wifi or cell.

With an e-mail and some info from you that way, we can go in on the back side of our website and take a look.

We've had a busy day and it seems to be getting even busier by the hour.

If you want the poster map you'll have to buy it on the lakebed, or order it online I'm assuming it may not be in the store until after the race...

Waaaay too late in the ballgame for us to incorporate that into our system unfortunately. However, I think that's an excellent idea! Certainly one to put in place for next year if we get the "gig" again. We feel it has been pretty well received thus far. We've probably had about 5% or so have issues. Of course, those are usually the ones you'll read about.

All that being said, we'd need a protected way to distribute this to the volunteers in the form of a coupon code that has a limited number of uses. That can very likely be done. We are, however, headed West today coming to a lakebed near you and it will be difficult to set up while traveling.

Long winded answer, sorry, but yes we probably can but probably not this year.

Rusty (Rustoid here on PBB), who has had "clipboard duty" in Hammertown (which means he greets the folks coming in and shows them where to park) said that many people have had the Hammertown map and it has really helped!

I'm planning on enjoying being off the grid (read I'll be putting my phone away for the week).

I also was hoping to view the map via my home computer, is that possible?

Will there be hard copies of the map there or is there one I can print? (IE not via smartphone).

The usual poster is for sale. KOH Main on one side, EmC/UTV on the other. Plain heavy paper or laminated.

Nothing will be released you can print.

Will your maps work with any other aps? Avenza is not compatible with my Casio Commando phone. I have tried to download the ap several different ways, including to my computer then push it to the phone but Google will not allow that either as my play account is tied to my phone. I would love to run the maps.

Tip for some android users. I am a long time avenza user and some times when you open the file (map) it won't automatically kick you GPS on. It will say you are not on the map even though you are. If that happens, open another map program ie Google maps, it does not matter if you have service you can eve be in airplane mode. Doing this kicks your GPS on. Go back to avenza and hit the button to find yourself.

I get what you're trying to do by selling the maps and I appreciate being able to buy a convenient mobile version, but I can't help but think that a non pay-per-view version of the map might keep a few jackasses off of the course and increase safety for the racers and spectators.

Maybe not. Carry on with the secret course.
